Open House

We’ve been in our new showroom for about a year now, and have been so busy shipping out the goods that we forgot to show it off! Therefore - SHIFTSPACE and SHIFT are hosting an Open House for DesignPhilly to ring in the fall season.

Mark your calendars, set an alarm, shout from the hills - that October 12th from 4–7 at 3060 West Jefferson in Brewerytown our doors are open. This Open House offers a peek into our practice, as well as the process for both SHIFT and SHIFTSPACE Studio. Since we relocated to Brewerytown we’ve seen new buildings go up, like the Brewerytown Lofts, and old buildings brought up to snuff, like the Pyramid Electric. SHIFTSPACE and SHIFT have a number of upcoming projects and products set to unveil October 12th. And truly, who can’t resist a sneak preview?

What can make this even better? We’re not simply opening up our space - we’re bringing the party to another level. Gathered around our PICWIC Picnic Tables will be bites from RyBrew, along with belgian brews by Weyerbacher and local hops from Crime + Punishment, bringing the “Brewery” back to “Brewerytown”. Also present will be fall bouquets by DC-based flower-power delivery service, Urban Stems. We jive with their message, their model, their curation - and are stoked to have their arrangements to further engage the senses.

Flanked by the administrative offices of Barnes-Museum-movers Atelier Art Storage and filmmakers Neighborhood Film Co, the latest SHIFTSPACE studio and SHIFT showroom is more than double the size of our prior location. We’ve got a full wooden bar serving pints and bites from the likes of Weyerbacher, RyBrew and Crime + Punishment, we’ll have the second most plentiful place to imbibe during the DesignPhilly Brewerytown Crawl next to Flying Fish down the street (and really, who can compete with their output?). With Live Breathe Futbol, a soccer-geared apparel company founded by two temple students, and Kole Made, best of Philly winners of impeccable cabinetry, we keep the party going here at 3060 W Jefferson in more ways than one.

So suit up, join us, and eat up! Can’t wait to see you here.
